No-cost recommended vaccinations with BCBSTX in-network providers

While vaccines have significantly decreased instances of adult and childhood diseases, individuals continue to experience severe illness or even fatalities due to diseases that vaccines can effectively prevent. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas (BCBSTX) health plans cover recommended vaccinations at no out-of-pocket costs like copays or coinsurance as long as you visit a healthcare provider in your plan’s network. Some vaccines’ protection can fade over time, and you might need additional vaccine doses (boosters) to maintain protection.

Guidelines for District Employees During Election Season

Guidelines for District Employees During Election Season

As Round Rock ISD employees, we all appreciate having freedom of speech and expression guaranteed by the United States and Texas constitutions. The Constitution gives us the right to freedom of speech and expression. Yet, as public education employees, there are limits to our freedom of speech, restricted by time, place, and manner.

In advance of the upcoming election season, the District is providing a reminder of the guidelines all District employees and officers must abide by during this time. Round Rock ISD encourages and actively supports its employees in our civic obligation to vote. We understand that many of our employees are engaged in various civics, activism, and politics in our community, state, and country.

Seven things you need to know

Hey, there! We’re glad you’re here. The 2023-2024 school year marks our 110th year as Central Texas’s premier school district.

Here are seven things you need to know from HR Services.

Educator input needed for curriculum audit survey

Educator input needed for curriculum audit survey

The District is undergoing a thorough assessment of its educational efforts for students through a curriculum audit conducted by an external evaluation team.

The audit team will conduct in-person interviews and review data in schools from September 11 to 15. Confidential teacher and administrator surveys allow you to share your opinions about your experiences in our schools. Survey data will aid school and District leaders in comprehending the strengths of our schools and identifying opportunities to implement strategies to yield optimal student results.
