Guest Educator Opportunities

8/2/19 – The Guest Educator Office is currently accepting guest educator applications from applicants who have completed two years of study at an institution of higher education, completed a formal guest educator (substitute) teaching preparation course, or have a combination of education and/or related work experience (i.e. daycare, private school teaching, teaching assistant, etc) equivalent to two years. Interested applicants who meet the qualification requirements are encouraged to apply online.

Upon verification of qualifications, the Guest Educator Office will schedule an appointment with the applicant to submit the required paperwork and complete the hiring process. Please note hiring is limited to applicants who meet one of the three qualification requirements at this time. Please also note an online application must be completed for consideration.

Our teachers and administrators are dedicated professionals who are committed to providing students the best possible education. The guest educator program supports this endeavor and offers various guest opportunities throughout the year for guest educators, registered nurses (RN), licensed vocational nurses (LVN), and other temporary assignments.

Guest Educator Opportunities

The Round Rock ISD Guest Educator Office is currently accepting new applications for guest educators from applicants who meet the criteria below.

  • Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher education, or
  • Have a combination of education and/or related work experience (i.e. daycare, private school teaching, teaching assistant, etc.), equivalent to two years or
  • Completion of formal guest educator (substitute) teaching preparation course.

The daily rate for guest educators is $95 per day for actively certified guest educators and $90 for non-certified guest educators.

The Round Rock ISD Guest Educator Office is currently accepting new applications for guest nurse (RN) and licensed vocational nurse (LVN) who possess a valid Texas nursing license and CPR certification. The daily rate for guest registered nurse (RN) and licensed vocational nurse (LVN) is $100 per day.

  • The Round Rock ISD Guest Educator Office is currently accepting new applications for tutors for a college readiness program that serves middle and high school students during the school day. All tutors will receive in-depth training that will teach the specific process each tutor will use when working with students. Tutors can work between one and five hours per day.
