Guest Educator Daily Rates:

Non-certified – $115 per day
Certified – $120 per day
Certified Long Term – $175 per day

The Guest Educator office is currently accepting new applications for guest educators from applicants who meet the criteria below.

    • Completion of two years of study at an institution of higher education, or
    • Have a combination of education and/or related work experience (i.e. daycare, private school teaching, teaching assistant, etc.), equivalent to two years or
    • Completion of a 2 hour guest educator (substitute) teaching preparation course.
    • Persons with disabilities who meet guest educator qualifications are encouraged to apply. Round Rock ISD is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with a disability.

The daily rate for guest educators is $120 per day for actively certified guest educators and $115 for non-certified guest educators.

The Round Rock ISD Guest Educator Office is currently accepting new applications for guest nurse (RN) and licensed vocational nurse (LVN) who possess a valid Texas nursing license and CPR certification. The daily rate for guest registered nurses (RN) is $296, and the rate for licensed vocational nurses (LVN) is $190 per day.

Please also note an online application must be completed for consideration. Guest educators must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible for high school assignments.

The Guest Educator Office is currently accepting guest educator applications from applicants who have completed two years of study at an institution of higher education, completed a 2 hour guest educator (substitute) teaching preparation course, or have a combination of education and/or related work experience (i.e. daycare, private school teaching, teaching assistant, etc) equivalent to two years. Interested applicants who meet the qualification requirements are encouraged to apply online.

Upon verification of qualifications, the Guest Educator Office will schedule an appointment with the applicant to submit the required paperwork and complete the hiring process. Please note hiring is limited to applicants who meet one of the three qualification requirements at this time. Please also note an online application must be completed for consideration.
