When you call SurgeryPlus, a Care Advocate will help you find a surgeon that meets the rigorous SurgeryPlus credentialing standards, schedule your appointments, coordinate logistics such as medical record transfers and any necessary travel arrangements, and ensure you have access to the best information as you make decisions about your care. Covered procedure categories include (but are not limited to) orthopedics, spine, general surgery, gynecology, ear nose and throat, cardiac, and interventional pain management.

High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) using SurgeryPlus
Since the costs for your SurgeryPlus surgery will not be processed through your primary medical plan and are subject to waived coinsurance, we do not want to overcharge you for your deductible in conjunction with this procedure. As a result, below is the process that will be followed regarding any deductible you may owe for this procedure:
If, by the end of your current plan year, you have not met or exceeded the deductible that applies for your procedure, you will be required to pay the remainder of the unmet plan deductible (or, if less, the cost of the surgery).
In the event you have not met the deductible for your procedure, you will receive a statement from SurgeryPlus for the additional deductible amount owed following the close of your plan year.
