Join us in creating a rewarding and enriching summer learning experience for our students. Round Rock ISD will hold two Summer Learning sessions for eligible students in June and July, dates vary by program.

Positions come with two paid days for prepping and planning, and a comprehensive curriculum will be provided.

  • January: Positions posted include: administrators, counselors, nurses, and instructional coaches.
  • Mid-February: Postings for teachers, educational assistants, and other office and campus staff members will be posted in ESS.
  • Mid-March: Full-time employees interested in Guest Educator positions can apply in ESS.

Session One, June

Special Education Extended School Year: Special education students will receive instruction to maintain skills in their Individual Education Plans at Great Oaks.

Elementary Emergent Bilingual: Anderson Mill and Caldwell Heights will host learning opportunities for our Emergent Bilingual Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and elementary newcomer students.

MTSS High School Acceleration: Cedar Ridge and McNeil are hosting summer learning for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Appropriate certification is required to teach high school Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, and LOTE courses. Teachers with all certifications are welcome to apply, and may be contacted for additional positions that become available.

Success High School: Success is hosting summer learning for current students. Appropriate certification and Edgenuity experience is required to teach courses.

Session Two, July

MTSS Elementary LAUNCH: Berkman, Live Oak, and Union Hill are hosting rising fourth and fifth grade students with a focus on reading and math. Teachers with all certifications are encouraged to apply.

MTSS Middle PROPEL: CD Fulkes, Deerpark, and Hopewell are hosting summer middle school learning for rising sixth through ninth graders with a focus on reading and math. Teachers with all certifications are encouraged to apply.
