Round Rock ISD recognizes May as Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental well-being plays a crucial role in ensuring that health takes a front seat.
From time to time, we can all use a little help coping with life’s adversity and being resilient when facing stress, worry, loneliness, anger, and sadness, which is why the district would like to identify and highlight resources available to employees to take charge of their mental health.

The district’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers free, confidential support for all employees and their families. Resources are available for a variety of issues you may face, such as family or relationship difficulties, or dealing with feelings of depression or anxiety.
Registering for your EAP through ComPsych is quick and easy. Just follow the steps below:
- Input our organizational Web ID: TXEAP
- Choose YES or NO if you are a Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) member. If you select YES, have your BCBS member card ready to enter. Your BCBS identification number starts with 921 plus your 6-digit employee identification number.
- Select your user name and password.
- Agree to terms of use, choose submit
- Connect to care in your Round Rock ISD ComPsych portal
These resources include:
- Free private and confidential counseling sessions.
- Unlimited legal advice over the phone and local quality referrals for financial or legal consultations.
- Community resources – You can contact hotlines, websites, and support groups to get help for yourself or a loved one. Find community resources.
- Lifestyle coaching – Lifestyle coaches are certified to provide confidential and unbiased support, resources, and accountability to help you achieve your goals.

Additionally, employees enrolled in the district’s Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas health plans have access to the BCBSTX Mental Health Hub. The Hub is an online tool that provides access to mental health providers, videos, podcasts, and articles with over 200+ mental health and well-being topics, such as anxiety, stress, depression, relationships, etc.
