Join us in creating a rewarding and enriching summer learning experience for our students. Round Rock ISD will hold two Summer Learning sessions for eligible students in June and July, dates vary by program. Please see job postings in ESS for details.
Positions come with two paid days for prepping and planning, and a comprehensive curriculum will be provided.
- Positions posted include: administrators, counselors, nurses, and instructional coaches. teachers, educational assistants, and other office and campus staff members. All openings can be accessed through ESS.
- April: Openings for Guest Educator positions will be posted for regularly scheduled employees in April. Applications will be available in ESS.
Applicants MUST apply in ESS and complete all steps of the application process for consideration. Apply early for your best chance to receive the campus, grade level, or course of your choice!

Session One, June
Special Education Extended School Year: Special education students will receive instruction to maintain skills in their Individual Education Plans at Great Oaks.
Elementary Emergent Bilingual: Anderson Mill and Caldwell Heights will host learning opportunities for our Emergent Bilingual Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and elementary newcomer students.
MTSS High School Acceleration: Cedar Ridge and McNeil are hosting summer learning for rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Appropriate certification is required to teach high school Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies, and LOTE courses. Teachers with all certifications are welcome to apply, and may be contacted for additional positions that become available.
Success High School: Success is hosting summer learning for current students. Appropriate certification and Edgenuity experience is required to teach courses.
Session Two, July

MTSS Elementary LAUNCH: Berkman, Live Oak, and Bluebonnet are hosting rising fourth and fifth-grade students with a focus on reading and math. Teachers with all certifications are encouraged to apply.
MTSS Middle PROPEL: CD Fulkes and Deerpark are hosting summer middle school learning for rising sixth through ninth graders with a focus on reading and math. Teachers with all certifications are encouraged to apply.
Newcomers Summer Learning: CD Fulkes and Deerpark are hosting summer middle school learning for incoming 6th and 9th newcomer students with less than 1 year in the US schools. Teachers with ESL certifications are encouraged to apply.
Advanced Math Camp: – CD Fulkes and Deerpark are hosting summer advanced math camp for rising 6th grade students (current 5th grade students) identified through data to help them get access to advanced math in middle school. Teachers with middle school math certification are encouraged to apply.
