Turn your passion into pay: Lead an enrichment camp this Summer!

Do you have a passion for photography, languages, math, woodworking, or gardening? Maybe you love to read, sew, craft, knit, or dance. The Enrichment Department is calling on district employees to share their talents by leading fun and engaging half- or full-day summer camps for students ages 5 to 17.

Teaching summer camp is an excellent opportunity to share your unique interests and expertise while getting paid for doing what you love. Instructors earn up to $35 per hour, about $540 for leading half-day camps, and about $1,032 for full-day camps per week. Compensation is TRS-eligible.

Work a little or a lot. Camps are held Monday through Thursday for five weeks. Choose the weeks that work for your schedule and lesson plan.

June 2 – 5, Half day only
June 9 -12, Half or full day
June 16 – 19, Half or full day
July 14 – 17, Half or full day
July 21 – 24, Half or full day

There are summer camps held at east and west district locations. If you are an employee working under your assigned service calendar, you may not be eligible or will need to take leave to participate.

Submit your camp topic proposal to the Enrichment Department by Feb 1. Following the review process, the Enrichment Department will notify individuals of accepted proposals via email by March 1. We look forward to your engaging ideas!
