What would you do with two extra days off from work?
At the June 18, 2024, board meeting, trustees approved October 4, 2024, and February 17, 2025, as districtwide paid leave days for all eligible Round Rock ISD employees.
These non-instructional days are called YOU Days, and all district offices and campuses are closed on these days. YOU is our district’s well-being program—mental, physical, social, and financial well-being benefits designed especially for YOU.
Employees not scheduled to work Oct. 4, 2024, and/or Feb. 17, 2025, will be approved to take their YOU day(s) on an alternative date(s) determined by district leadership.
These days are for YOU—A day you can sleep in, make appointments, enjoy your interests, spend time with family and friends, and binge-watch the latest thriller.
An amended 2024–25 school year calendar will be released, updating the regularly scheduled professional development days to YOU days, during which the district will be closed. Employee service calendars will be updated soon to reflect the YOU days on respective calendars.
