Martha Hernandez is the budget specialist for the Fine Arts Department. She provides administrative support and prepares, processes and monitors all budget transactions and beyond district student travel forms for UIL and TMEA events.
Both of Martha’s children attended Round Rock ISD. Her daughter graduated from Round Rock HS in 2000 and her son graduated from Stony Point High School in 2007. Martha’s step grandson graduated from Cedar Ridge HS in 2021 and her grandson is a current third grade student in the District. She also has several nieces and nephews who graduated from Round Rock ISD.
Outside of work, Martha is very family oriented and likes to spend as much time as she can with her family. She is a die hard Dallas Cowboy and Texas Longhorn fan, and cheers on each team with her family. Martha also enjoys bowling and playing games and she loves spending time with her grandson.
Martha was a Special Olympics Coach for the Hill Country Stars in Round Rock for close to 17 years. She travelled to China with her son when he qualified for the World Games for Special Olympics TX in powerlifting. Although she didn’t get to meet the President, her son did get to take a picture with President George W. Bush when he was at the World Games Kickoff in Washington, DC.
