Results are in for District’s 110 anniversary logo

The results are in! With nearly 65% of the vote, the “Gold Ribbon with Years” logo was chosen to represent the District’s upcoming 110th anniversary.

The District’s 110 year anniversary logo will be officially used starting June 1, 2023 through May 31, 2024.

“This logo brings to mind a globe,” one submitter commented. “Our District is made up of students from everywhere and the suggestion of a globe is a lovely reminder of that.”

Another employee stated, “I like this logo because it is classic, inclusive and bold. Round Rock ISD wraps around our world and our students.”

The District was established on May 17, 1913, when voters approved incorporation of Williamson County Common School District #19 by a 57-2 vote.

Voting was open from February 1 through 8.

A breakdown of the votes follows:

  1. Gold ribbon with years: 64.69%
  2. Retro shadow with gradient: 26.29%
  3. Numbers with circle logo: 5.15%
  4. Tall numbers with banner logo: 3.87%
