Effective Monday, Feb. 6, eligible District employees will be able to submit Extra Duty Pay request forms online using the Informed K12 platform. Paper forms are longer accepted.
“The payroll team is pleased to provide an easier and more efficient solution to managing extra duty pay requests,” said Toni Larsen. “We are grateful to our partners from the District business systems and technology and information services teams for their help in automating this process.”
Non-exempt employees only: Please continue to report hours worked for extra duty in Kronos. This does not replace your current method of timekeeping. The only exceptions for a non-exempt employee to use this form is for a new hire working prior to their service calendar start date, or when making a correction for a prior pay period for hours not previously reported in Kronos.
What to expect:
- New submission deadlines: Employees will be expected to follow due dates for each pay period. Please see Payroll Schedule for details.
- Faster approval time: The online form allows for approvals to be done online, which will speed up the time it takes the form to reach our Payroll Department.
- Form status: Instead of having to call or email, you will now be able to check the approval status of your form online using a custom link that will be emailed to you after you submit your form.
- Organized by pay period: Instead of pay requests crossing multiple pay periods, each form submitted will contain only dates worked within that pay period.
