Employee badges allow the District to determine who should or shouldn’t have access to certain areas of your campus and buildings. And they also serve as an important visual safety clue for you and your co-workers. Visible badges help improve campus security by letting others know whether or not an individual belongs in the building.
“Badges serve more than just a way to unlock doors – they also show that you belong,” said Dennis Weiner, Round Rock ISD Chief of Police. “By wearing your employee badge, you are making an important contribution to the safety and security of your campus and building.”
Employees and guest educators should wear employee or visitor badges at all times while on school and District property. When we all prominently wear our badge, it allows a quick and easy way to identify individuals who may not be permitted to be in our facilities.
If your badge is stolen or lost, please immediately report it to HR Services, your campus administrator or supervisor.
