Round Rock ISD teacher compensation planning participates in Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment program

Texas State’s Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) allows Round Rock ISD to enhance our efforts in areas aligned with goals two and four of our Strategic Plan.

Specifically, TIA will support identifying, developing, and retaining a talented team of teachers and staff equipped to meet the needs of our students. TIA recognizes and compensates highly effective teachers who support our District’s commitment to promoting academic excellence that engages and inspires students through learning and enrichment opportunities.

TIA provides differentiated and targeted compensation for identified strategic support campuses by recruiting and retaining strong teachers. The TIA program encourages and supports teacher growth and development by incentivizing teachers to earn credentials such as the National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT) certificate.

By using TIA, we will create a pathway to increase compensation for classroom teachers beyond what is achievable within our current budget. Our District is committed to our goal of recruiting and retaining high-quality teachers with the implementation of TIA.
