Guidelines for District Employees During Election Season
As Round Rock ISD employees, we all appreciate having freedom of speech and expression guaranteed by the United States and Texas constitutions. The Constitution gives us the right to freedom of speech and expression. Yet, as public education employees, there are limits to our freedom of speech, restricted by time, place, and manner.
In advance of the upcoming election season, the District is providing a reminder of the guidelines all District employees and officers must abide by during this time. Round Rock ISD encourages and actively supports its employees in our civic obligation to vote. We understand that many of our employees are engaged in various civics, activism, and politics in our community, state, and country.

Round Rock ISD work perks continue expanding, offering employees exclusive discounts on premium goods and services. Just added for the 2023-2024 school year are discount tickets for Broadway Across America’s renowned theater productions performed at Bass Concert Hall in Austin.
Educator input needed for curriculum audit survey
The District is undergoing a thorough assessment of its educational efforts for students through a curriculum audit conducted by an external evaluation team.
The audit team will conduct in-person interviews and review data in schools from September 11 to 15. Confidential teacher and administrator surveys allow you to share your opinions about your experiences in our schools. Survey data will aid school and District leaders in comprehending the strengths of our schools and identifying opportunities to implement strategies to yield optimal student results.
Higher education partners extend tuition discounts for advanced degrees and continuing education
Round Rock ISD staff, including teachers, principals, coaches, instructional technologists, counselors, and other professionals, can enjoy discounted tuition from college and university partners to further their academic pursuits and advance their degrees.
