Round Rock ISD applies for Teacher Incentive Allotment designation
HR Services continues to work through the application process to become a local designation system for the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA). TIA was created by House Bill 3 (86R) to keep highly effective teachers in the classroom by significantly raising their salaries. The 2023-2024 academic year is the first phase of our path to fully implementing the TIA Designation System. This is a data collection year for our initial cohort of teachers. Round Rock ISD has adopted a phase-in approach to TIA, starting with Kindergarten, first, and second-grade teachers at nine Strategic and Increased Support elementary campuses for the 2023-2024 school year.

Employee badges show you belong
Employee badges allow the District to determine who should or shouldn’t have access to certain areas of your campus and buildings. And they also serve as an important visual safety clue for you and your co-workers. Visible badges help improve campus security by letting others know whether or not an individual belongs in the building.
Cast your vote for Round Rock ISD’s 110-year logo
On May 17, Round Rock ISD will proudly celebrate 110 years of providing children with promising futures. We’re only going to be 110 years old once. And we’re celebrating with a limited edition 110-year logo to commemorate this historic milestone. Please take a moment to vote for one of the four-anniversary logos you’d like to see visually representing our District’s positive attributes – longevity, trustworthiness, promise, hope, stability, excellence, and dependability. Voting closes on Friday, Feb. 8.
Staff asked to complete 2023 campus survey

Stop the Prop: propped open doors present a security risk
Propping open a door may be convenient, but it’s unsafe. An easy safety solution that does not require additional costs or technology is ensuring that campus or facility doors are properly latched and not propped open. Doors propped open during and after school give outside threats easy access to your campus or office.
