Employee Spotlight: Faye Johnson

Meet Faye Johnson, our teen parent homebound teacher. In her role, Faye supports our teen parents by creating an environment conducive to learning. She collects assignments from teachers, delivers assignments to the student, introduces new concepts, returns completed assignments, assists students with assignments, proctors exams, provides weekly updates, assists with the care of infants as needed, and encourages students to reach their goals. Faye has been employed in the teen parent program for over ten years – starting in 2013.

Join us in creating a rewarding and enriching summer learning experience for our students. Round Rock ISD will hold two Summer Learning sessions for eligible students in June and July, dates vary by program.
January: Positions posted include: administrators, counselors, nurses, and instructional coaches.
Mid-February: Postings for teachers, educational assistants, and other office and campus staff members will be posted in ESS.
Mid-March: Full-time employees interested in Guest Educator positions can apply in ESS.

January Payroll and Proposition A-related Pay Increase Information

Eligible full-time teachers who began on the first day of their 2023–24 service calendar will receive an annual increase of at least $1,750, and all other eligible employees will receive an increase of at least 3% of their pay grade’s midpoint. This increase is on top of the 3% general pay increase for all teachers and librarians and 2% general pay increase for all other staff members that the Board of Trustees approved for the 2023–24 school year.

Clayton is a Network Administrator in the Technology and Information Services department, focusing on supporting the District’s phone, camera, and wired and wireless networks. His dedication extends to enhancing safety and security through projects involving panic buttons, mass notifications, and video surveillance.
